Excellent Endeavour23 October 2026 (by Alice Fletcher-Single (afletcher-single)) |
Dear parents and carers,
Endeavour have spent this afternoon reflecting on this first term in Years 5 and 6 and what a joy it's been to read their reflections! I have been impressed with their enthusiasm and motivation in this last week if a very long term. Well done! I hope you all have a fantastic time at the disco this evening (it's all they've spoken about today)!
Looking ahead to next term, this is a link to the class text (this website is fab and sells v cheap used books) When the Sky Falls By Phil Earle. Please do look in charity shops too over the half-term holiday. Whole class reading sessions this term have been so successful because so many of the class had their own copies of the text, so thank you so much for your support with this. If the children would like to bring in a comfortable writing pen next term, they can. It should be blue ink (not biro).
Our History topic question next term is 'What was the impact of WW2 on the people of Britain?' - we will be immersed straight away with a trip in the first week back! We would like to invite the children to dress in WW2 style clothing but of course this isn;t compulsory!
Thank you all for your support this term. As always, any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Homework (Year 6) is on Atom Learning, due date 6.11.26.
Have a wonderful half-term!
Mrs F-S
