HUGE WELL DONE TO YEAR 6. No more SATS - You have all been incredible and should be so proud of yourselves.
A huge thank you to parents for all your support, and for the wonderful array of treats we had for our post-SATS celebration picnic!
Looking ahead...
Final week of Term 5
Next week, we will be finishing our Deserts topic and answering the title question ' Would you like to live in the desert?'
There will be plenty of exciting talk about the upcoming Upper School Production, which we are all very excited about! We will be doing a musical version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Auditions will be this week, your child will bring a script home on Monday.
There will be a PSHE workshop run by a SCARF facilitator, on Tuesday. Also on Tuesday, children will take part in a collaborative Art session in their house teams, run by Sarah Lorrimer-Riley. Thank you Sarah, I know they will love this.
On Wednesday, children from Y6 will be competing in a Quadkids athletics event at The Oratory School, Woodcote. It will take place in the afternoon starting at 1pm and finishing at 4pm. The team will travel to the event by minibus or staff member's car but this is a one-way trip only and parents are asked to arrange to have their child picked up directly from The Oratory School. As this event is due to finish outside of school hours, you are welcome to arrange lift shares amongst yourselves. You will need to provide the name of the person picking up your child on the form below.
Pupils must wear their school PE Kits. They must bring a water bottle and a healthy energy snack if they wish. Warm and waterproof layers, sunhats and suncream may be required depending on the weather.
Please complete the PERMISSION FORM as soon as possible, giving your permission for your child to attend this event, details of any changes
