Welcome to Term 4, Week 1!

Writing
The class will begin our class text Otto: Autobiography of a Teddy bear by Tomi Ungerer and write a character description of the teddy. Due to the nature of the book being about World War 2, there are parts of the story that the children won’t be exposed to. Please be mindful if you are sharing it.
Phonic/Reading
This week’s focus sound is -y (happy)

Maths
We are continuing the unit Addition & Subtraction (within 20). This week’s focus is on subtraction – finding the difference, related facts, and missing number problems.
MFL
The class will learn the names of colours in Spanish.
PE
Pupils should wear PE kits to school on Wednesday (Dance) & Thursday (Football).
