In the Reading Planners there are a list of practice words for the children to read and write at home. I am delighted to see that children are beginning to practise writing the words as well as reading them.

Maths

This week we will consolidate what the children have learnt about addition & Subtraction within 10. A website we use in class to play games that link to the learning is called Top Marks. It is free and can be found here: https://www.topmarks.co.uk/Search.aspx?q=fact%20families    

Science

We will finally begin the Unit on Zoology. This has been delayed due to extra events in the timetable including play rehearsals. This includes learning to identify and name a variety of common animals including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals, and describe and compare the structure of them.
