English – The children have been writing a character description based on our class text The Stone Age Boy. We have generated vocabulary and will apply conjunctions and expanded noun phrases to make our writing more interesting. We will continue this writing activity into next week due to the flu vaccinations and timetable demands.

Maths – We have completed our addition and subtraction unit along with the end-of-topic assessment. We have now moved on to our next topic: multiplication and division. Please could you encourage your child to practise their times tables daily.

Homework – Spellings, SPaG booklets, times tables, reading, and maths homework have been set on Atom Learning.

D&T – Please could I request that your child brings in a few small cardboard boxes by Wednesday 26th November at the latest, to make their castles.

Costumes – All children, except those who have been provided a costume by school, should bring in their costume for the Christmas production by Monday 24th November 2025.
