This week the children began writing their informal letters either to a family member or friend. We looked at the features of an informal letter and who do we write them to. We will be completing this activity on Monday.

Science-

The next 2 week will be blocked for science. Our topic is 'Rock'. The children have had a brief introduction to the 3 categories of rocks based on their features. We will continue to learn more about rocks, formation and rock cycle and conduct a few fun experiments to enhance their learning.

Maths- Continuation of Addition and Subtraction unit. Please could I request your child continues to work at home to embed and consolidate their learning.

Homework- This week only spellings and maths worksheets have been issued based on the learning in class. English booklets weren't handed out today due to the extended assembly today. However, these will be sent home on Monday with an extended submission time for the following Monday 20th Oct 25. Children must continue to read and practise their times tables daily. 

Parents evening- Please find your parent appointment slips in your child's bag. Should you have difficulty attending the appointment then please contact the school office for an alternative time.

Earth Trust- Thank you to those parents who have completed the online forms. Please could I request that all parents complete the form by 20th Oct 25. An email has been sent to all parents again.
