The Week Ahead - and beyond!26 September 2025 (by Sarah Roberts (sroberts)) |
Find out about all the events and visits coming up.
Next week is a busy one for Investigator.
Monday
The Upper School are out and about on a geography field trip on Monday afternoon when we will be asking ourselves why people come to Nettlebed and how land is used in our local area. As geographers, we will note the human and physical features of Nettlebed as we follow our route around the village. Back in school we will be able to compare Innsbruck and Nettlebed – I wonder what features they have in common.
Children should wear school uniform or school PE kits if they prefer. Monday’s weather forecast is fine at the moment but please keep an eye on it and dress accordingly. Trainers or walking boots would be suitable footwear.
Tuesday
Y4 boys are all taking part in the Woodcote Partnership Football tournament in the afternoon. (Y4 girls - it will be your turn the following week)
Friday
Also next week, Investigator will take part in the skipping workshop on Friday. You have recieved information about this already which explains that speed ropes are available to buy on lineor by bringing money into school in a named envelope on the day. Please enclose the exact money in cash.

During the week you received an email about our trip to Sulgrave Manor in preparation for our Term 2 topic. The trip is actually in the last week of this term but will set us up nicely for our history topic after the half term break.
