Over the last 2 weeks, we have focused our writing on a setting description of Pompeii City/ market before Mount Vesuvius erupts. Everyone has enjoyed this task and used their spag knowledge to make their writing descriptive and interesting.

Next week, we will celebrate National Poetry Week. We will look at different poems, styles and features of  poems. children will then write their own poem using there 5 senses.

Maths- Completion of our topic on Place Value and assessments. We have now started the 2ns unit on addition and subtraction.

Homework- You will find that maths homework has now been set on Atom Learning and children should have a clear grasp on what has been taught in class. However, addtional practise using number lines is essential.

English spag - booklets have been handed out today and only the first page will require completion. Books should be brought in no later than Wednesday.

Times table Rock Stars, reading and spelling practise is a must.

Trips - our school trip to Earth Trust will be on 6th Nov 25. I will send out an online form for your to complete soon.
