Hello and welcome to term 6!

I hope you have had a restful half term after such a short but incredibly intense term 5. This term, we will be focusing on our end of year writing assessment, our end of term production, sports day, and finally, our leavers assembly - the year seems to have flown by.

Our first event this term is the much-anticipated NettleFest which takes place this coming weekend. Year 6s have been asked if they would like to help on the day so please do get in touch with myself, Mrs Sedwell or anyone on the FONS team, if this is a possibility for your child. Don't forget to get your tickets!

This term, we will be asking 'Were the Vikings raiders, traders or something else?' as part of our topic. Our reading and writing learning will largely be based on a mixture of our topic and our production which is Wonderland the Musical.

I have put together some events which may be helpful to know ahead of time:

Monday 9th June - Rivers Trip to the Earth Trust

Thursday 3rd July - Sports Day

Wednesday 9th July - Upper School End of Year Production @ 6pm

Thursday 17th July - Leavers' Assembly @ 2:30pm
