The children had a great week of writing last week - they worked hard to complete and type up their non-chronological reports on the inferences we can make from the items found at Sutton Hoo. The year 6s have been attempting to up-level their writing with some great results!

Next Week

In history, we ask the question: Was King Alfred really great? We will learn all about his difficulties with Viking invaders and evaluate his reign and legacy. Our English writing will be a biographical account of his life.

On Monday, we will also have an independent writing assessment - the children will work throughout the morning and then they will writing a setting description independently.

Parents' Evening Meetings
