Next week we ask the question: Was King Alfred really great? We will find out about his struggles with the Viking invaders and evaluate his reign and legacy. Our English writing will be a biographical account of his life.

Swimming next week – BRING YOUR PJs
Arguably, the most important week in our swimming course is the ‘Self Rescue’ week. This takes place next week and pupils should bring in pyjamas to wear over the top of their swimming costumes. Please note that fleece onesies are not suitable for this activity as they become waterlogged and too heavy.
Y4 Hill End Meeting – this is advance notification of an information meeting for our Hill End residential trip which takes place in Term 5 (13th-15th May). You will be able to attend in person or online. The meeting will be held after school on Tuesday 22nd April at 3.45pm.
