We have had a wonderful Henley Youth Festival week with plenty of opportunities to get creative and to get our bodies moving – please see the gallery of photos above.

Next Week

Topic work focus: To identify how Christianity spread in Britain in the Anglo-Saxon period. We will find out how beliefs changed and how missionaries spread the word of Christianity.

In our English writing sessions, we will continue writing non-chronological  reports detailing what we can infer about Anglo-Saxon people and their lives from the important archaeological site at Sutton Hoo. Children may like to carry out some independent research to further their understanding.

Times tables practice – regular practice of all times tables facts (up to 12 x table). Children should focus on tables they find tricky whilst keeping knowledge and recall of all tables current.

Reading – own reading books daily

Spellings – all children have spellings in their planners

English Skills – please complete a weekly test
