Challenger Class, Term 4, Week 3
Welcome to Term 4, Week 3!
Writing
The class will continue our class text Otto: Autobiography of a Teddy bear by Tomi Ungerer and continue to write a diary entry. Due to the nature of the book being about World War 2, there are parts of the story that the children aren’t exposed to. Please be mindful if you are sharing it.
Phonic/Reading
This week’s focus sound is -ow (snow)

Maths
We will begin our new unit on Measurement (length & height) and this week we are going to compare length & height, and measure using objects & centimetres.
Music
The is unit is called Exploring sounds. Children will learn that music is made up of high and low sounds, long and short sounds, and loud and quiet sounds. They will answer the social question: Does Music Make the World a Better Place?
Henley Youth Festival
This week we will participate in Bhangra and Music for miniatures events.
