Hamlet comes to Nettlebed
Last week, Y5 pupils were treated to a fantastic Young Shakespeare Company performance of Hamlet. The children were captivated as the cast transported us to Elsinore Castle and medieval Denmark to witness Hamlet’s attempts to exact revenge against his uncle, Claudius. The actors make the play fully accessible to younger audiences and children become involved through a series of carefully structured drama and language activities. Our children threw themselves into the experience in true Nettlebed style.
