We had a great first week back to school - we worked hard on some tricky explanatory writing based on our new historical topic on invaders and settlers.

This week we will be looking at 'continuity and change' and taking a closer look at Anglo-Saxon settlements that emerged after invasion.

Tuesday: Hamlet

We are lucky to be watching a production of Hamlet by Young Shakespeare Company as part of the Henley Youth Festival. 

Thursday: World Book Day

We will celebrate World Book Day 2025 on Thursday 6th March. The theme this year is 'Read Your Way' - celebrating the reading during free time without judgement. Please find more information on the world book day website: www.worldbookday.com. Children are welcome to dress up if they wish to - creativity is definitely encouraged over buying new costumes though! We will be attending an online lesson and completing some learning around it.
