Investigator Weekly News8 February 2025 (by Sarah Roberts (sroberts)) |
We have had a wonderful week away in Wales and I hear that the rest of the class had a good week in school too. I hope the Year 4s enjoyed their one-off Forest School morning and that the weather was kind to them. Some of us were abseiling down a cliff in wind and rain last Tuesday! The weather did brighten up after that I am glad to say.
We will all have plenty to talk about next week. Rest assured we will also be getting on with the learning, details as follows:
Topic Work
In our last geography lesson this term we weigh up the arguments for and against buying locally grown or imported foods. Children will be using all they have learned about how food is sourced and the impact on the environment of the food choices we make to write a balanced argument.
The timetable for next week will be back to normal with an earlier than usual assembly on Friday. I look forward to seeing you for the Star of the Term and Kilvrough special assembly at 2.45pm.
Homework – it might be the last week of term but homework expectations are as normal:
Reading
Spellings
Y4 Atom maths
English Skills booklet
Have a great week everyone!
