Fond Farewells
Next week, some of the class will be in school and some will be in Wales on the Kilvrough residential trip. So, on Friday we had a few goodbyes to say. For most of us it was ‘See you soon – have a good week’. For those of us on the trip though, we had to say a more permanent goodbye to one of our number and we will be sad to be away for Tommy’s last week in school. We all wish him the very best in his new home and new school and hope he has a great last week at Nettlebed.
Geography Topic
Next week’s topic work asks the question: Are our school dinners locally sourced? The class will design and use data collection methods to find out where our food comes from.
Organisation next week in Investigator Class
Mrs Greenwood has already sent a message regarding the week but the main points are these:
- Forest School on Tuesday
All Y4 and Y5 children in school next week, will take part in Forest School on Tuesday morning. They should come to school in outdoor gear and remember their school uniform to change into afterwards. It is a good idea to bring a plastic bag for muddy boots.
- Staffing and Timetable
The class will be in very safe hands and taught at various times by Mrs Greenwood, Miss Ravenscroft and Miss Douglas. Apart from Forest School on Tuesday, the timetable will remain largely the same as normal.
Next Week at Kilvrough
Look out for the daily updates coming from the office.
Have a wonderful week everyone!
