2 weeks into T3 and the children have been enuthisactally been learning about our geography topic Who lives in Antarctica.
Following on from last week and gathering information at home and school and looking at examples of leaflets in class. Children in Discovery will make their own travel leaflets to entice people to visit the continent of Antarctica. They will need to use persuasive and exciting language.

Maths- Continuation of multiplication and division unit B. There will be an assessment before we move on to our next topic Length and Perimeter.
Homework- Atom learning homework has been set, Spag booklets page 15, spellings have been issued in your child's planner and a copy of 36 essential times table facts have been sent home.
Head lice- Please could you check your child's hair for lice/ nits, as we've had a few cases in class.
Lower school house captain/ vice captain elections will take place in school in Monday's school assembly in the hall. If your child would like to stand for either positions then please help them prepare a persuasive speech, thank you.
