What an wintry week we had as a start to the term!  We were so excited to see the children and hear such lovely news of their Christmas experiences.

Our geography focus which is entitled, 'Why is our World Wonderful?'.  We are looking at 'What are some of the UK's amazing features and landmarks?' and discussing whether we have seen them or know of them already.

Forest School on Tuesday and P.E. on Thursday as timetabled. 

Our phonic focus is: Week 2 Words ending in: -al/-il      Contractions: wasn’t /isn’t

Maths will finish with shape and start a unit on addition and subtraction.   Mastering Number continues with looking at how 'teens' numbers are '10 and a bit'.

Thank you to those that sent in indoor shoes.  We certainly needed them last week, trying hard to keep the classroom dry and clean.  Many thanks!
