Happy New Year 2025!

We do hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas break and we wish you healthy and happy new year!

Welcome to Term 3 and a more detailed overview of our learning this term will be added to the website on the 7 January.

We have a geography focus which is entitled, 'Why is our World Wonderful?'.  Through this topic we will be looking at nature, landscape and exploring the outdoors.  We have a trip this month to the Earth Trust which will help us understand this further.  More details to follow.

This week, the timetable is running as before.  Forest School on the Tuesday and P.E. on Thursday.   

Our phonic focus is: Week 1 Words ending in: -le/-el  and learning the contraction: it’s.

Maths continues with shape before starting a unit on addition and subtraction.

Please remember to provide some indoor shoes for changing into whilst the weather is muddy and wet.   It is not nice for damp carpets in the classroom after a playtime.  Many thanks!
