Welcome back to school for an exciting term ahead. I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends and perhaps also a chance to rest and relax.

Topic

This week, we launch our new geography topic for the term: Where does our food come from? The objective of this week’s learning is to explain the impact on the environment of the choices we make about our food.

One of the texts we will share this term is The Great (Food) Bank Heist by Onjali Q.Rauf. It is a moving story that gives a child’s-eye view of the increasing problem of food poverty.

Please note that:

Monday 6^th is a training day for staff

Tuesday 7^th is the first day back for children and Forest School for Y5 and PE for Y4 will take place as normal.

Kilvrough reminder – a parental consent form was sent out in the final week of last term. Please complete and return it.
