The Week Ahead in Investigator Class8 December 2024 (by Sarah Roberts (sroberts)) |
Last Friday we decorated the classroom and it truly feels like the countdown to Christmas has begun. There is still plenty more learning to be done in the last two weeks though and some special events aswell.
Next week’s learning:
In history, we ask: What were the diseases children caught and how were they treated? Perhaps not the most festive of subjects but a very important part of people’s lives throughout the ages.
Special events this week:
Wednesday – The upper school will sing at the Senior Citizens’ Christmas Lunch. This takes place at The Village Club and children will walk there accompanied by school staff.
Thursday - Y5/6 Boys football tournament at Langtree
Some of the Year 5 boys have put themselves forward for the Partnership football tournament to be held on Thursday. If they volunteered, you will have already received information and a link to the permission form.
Homework:
- Reading
- Spellings
- Maths on Atom Learning
- English Skills workbooks
Have a great week!
