Endeavour Class: Term 2, Week 51 December 2024 (by Kerry Burbedge (kburbedge)) |
Last week the children enjoyed getting some bulbs planted in the Endeavour garden during our class treat - it was so cold but the children could pop in and out of the classroom to keep warm.Thank you to everyone that continued to clear the area!
A huge well done also, to all those who entered the Christmas Star competition - There were some amazing entries. Do take a look at the tree in the reception area, it looks quite impressive!
In history this week, we will be exploring how children spent their leisure time in both the Tudor and Victorian eras, we will then see how it compares to modern times and how children spend their leisure time today.
The whole of the upper school will be singing to a community lunch held at the Nettlebed Club on 11th December. Please do encourage them to have a listen to some of the songs we will be singing in order to be completely familiar with all the lyrics.
On Thursday, those girls in year 5 & 6 girls who have put their name forward, will be attend the schools' partnership girls' football tournament. Please ensure permissions have been returned to Ms Roberts.
Please be aware that on Friday, children are allowed to come into school in home clothes, in exchange for a item to donate to our famous Christmas hampers. Our class have been asked to bring items that are 'Christmas Treats' but any donation is welcome! Don't forget to sell your raffle tickets and return the money to the office too.
Have a fabulous week ahead.
