Endeavour Class: Term 2, Week 317 November 2024 (by Kerry Burbedge (kburbedge)) |
This week we begin with our trip to Reading Museum to learn more about what work and school life was like for Victorian children. Children are allowed to dress up in Victorian costumes if they wish but they will have access to costumes at the museum. If not dressing up, children are to come to school in full school uniform. We will return to school before the end of the school day. Please remember a packed lunch if you have not booked a school one.
Our history learning this week will also focus on what Victorian life was like for children - we will be consolidate and record this learning in a short, written report in our English lessons.
The Christmas star competition will be launched on Friday. Every child entering a star into the competition will earn 5 house points for their house, the winner will earn 50 house points for their house!
You may begin to hear our Christmas songs being sung by the children. They are learning Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in British Sign Language and another in French.
Have a great week.
