Welcome to Term 1, Week 7!

Science

This week is science week. The Unit is seasonal changes which includes learning about different types of weather and how to associate types of weather with particular seasons. This unit is revisited across the year which allows us to explore some of the things that happen in each season. We are going to carry out experiments including waterfall and temperature.

Phonic/Reading

This week’s focus sound is ‘oy’ (boy).

Maths

We are continuing the unit on to Addition & Subtraction. The focus will be on fact families and number bonds within 10.

Music

We are continuing the unit called Musical Heartbeat and the class will learn about the pulse of music and how to keep a steady beat.
