Last week we began making our structures in DT. We shared our poems with each other in celebration of National Poetry Day and some of the children also read out to their houses!
This week, we will be focusing our attention on non-chronological reports. We will begin by analysing two reports about Machu Picchu - spotting specific features of these reports. We will then research an animal of the Amazon rainforest and write our own non-chronological reports on them, highlighting the effect changes to the rainforest are having on specific species.
Bikeability will take place on 8-9th October for year 5s and a couple of year 6s.
On 10th October, we have our first cross-country meet, children taking part may come into school in PE kit
