This week the class will learn more about poetry following on from National poetry day last week, and we will write acrostic poems.

Phonic/Reading

This week’s focus sound is ‘ea’ (cream).

Maths

We are finishing our unit on Place Value and moving on to Addition & Subtraction. The focus will be on using the part-whole model and writing number sentences.

Music

This unit is called Musical Heartbeat and the class will learn about the pulse of music and how to keep a steady beat.
