Geography Topic
Next week we will continue to find out about and describe the rainforest layers. We have been treated to some wonderful presentations by some of the class, showing their own rainforest experiences. They did not travel as far as you might think though – Cornwall, Berkshire and their very own house!
Katherine Rundell live online
We have been enjoying our reading of The Explorer and on Wednesday next week we will be joining a live online session with the author. Let’s get thinking of some questions to ask her!

Reading
Last week children wrote homework schedules in their planners.. Some children had great intentions and devised a packed homework schedule throughout the week. As the weeks progress, I am sure that they will develop a realistic timetable for completing homework that enables regular practice in all areas. Please help your children manage their homework.
Year 5 Bikeability
You have received an email asking you to register your Y5 child for the Bikeability training. It will take place over two days between 7th and 10th October. Please register your child by 24th September.
Have a great week!
