Dear Parents,
We welcome your child to their Year 2 class and look forward to the coming year.
Obviously there will be lots of questions and unknowns, but over the next few days, we have no doubt that they will settle in well as they find out about their new classroom and routines.
To give you some outline of Term 1, there is an overview of the topic, 'Would you prefer to live in a hot or cold place?'
Also, within the first page, there is a class letter that should answer questions about what is happening and other details about class expectations.
Additionally, there is a timetable for planned subjects during the week. Please note, lessons sometimes may be exchanged around during the week if necessary - normally afternoon subjects.
As this week is only three days the timetable will not start properly until next week. As such, there is no P.E. this Thursday afternoon, so everyone should come in normal school uniform. The P.E. session and Forest School will start next week.
