I would like to take this opportunity to welcome both you and your child to Discovery. I am looking forward to meeting you and telling you about the exciting things we will be learning each week and throughout the year. Please check the class page regularly for any information, updates or news.

Mrs Winters will be in Discovery on Tuesday afternoons and teach all day on Wednesdays. She is also looking forward to meeting you all.

This week will be to get to know the children better and to help them settle into the new class and school routine. However, we will also begin base line assessment this week to establish the children’s current knowledge and understanding.

As the children move into KS2 the teaching and learning increases. Thank you in advance for the support with your child’s learning in school and at home.

I shall look forward to seeing your children on Thursday.
