Last week we enjoyed looking at seasides through live web-cams.  It really helped us understand the features of a seaside resort.  This week we focus on our science topic of plant growth.  We will be outside when we can, using our fantastic grounds to help us with our learning.

Phonics

For the remainder of this term we are reviewing and revising the knowledge we have practised this year, so there will be a mixed selection of words for the next two weeks.   The skills of proof-reading, partner sharing to spot and correct errors and dictation will be also practised.

Maths

Continue practising 2x 5x 10x tables.  Problem solving, with fractions and using position and direction with more confidence.  This links with our geography and learning compass points.

Monday - Whole School Photo at 9.am.

Tuesday -Forest School - as normal.

Thursday - Sports Day.  From 9.30 a.m. onwards.  Please wear a plain T-shirt of your House colour.
