It was an exciting Monday, with the farm visiting lower school. The children really enjoyed their experience handling the animals and asking great questions to enhance their learning.
The year 3's and 4's were very well behaved on Friday, during our live PSHE lesson. They all participated and worked well in group activities.
English/ Topic:
This week, we will talk about beach safety. Children will then write a set of instructions using imperative verbs. Later this week, there will be a whole school writing assessment on Friday about the summer solstice.
Maths: We will begin our new unit on Shapes.
At home, children must continue telling the time to the nearest minute and be able to read the time using a digit clock to embed their learning.
Wednesday: Music assembly in school.
Afternoon subjects will continue as normal.
