Last week had the Farm2Ewe visit and some great questioning, learning and understanding was had, along with a very enjoyable time for all.  Please see the attached photo where we were talking about the gestation of ducks!

This week we explore more about the geography of the U.K. coastline and look at seasides past and present.  We plan to view webcams of different seaside resorts and observe what the weather, features and coastline is like and do some comparisons.

Maths

Continue practising 2x 5x 10x tables.   Focus on halves, quarters and thirds as fractions and parts of a whole.

Extra Events

There is a fencing demonstration in Monday's assembly to showcase a new club coming in September.  Very exciting!

The Wednesday music assembly starts at 2.45p.m. - an opportunity to share some of the great talent we have in school.

On Friday we celebrate National Writing Day by having a big writing session in our classes across the whole school.

On Saturday - NettleFest!
