Welcome back to school everyone! I hope you have all had a restful half term and that you are ready for Term 6. We have an exciting and busy time ahead of us as we find ourselves in the final term of the year.

Topic Work

Our new geography topic is based on the unit of work ‘Can I develop an independent fieldwork enquiry?’ Having identified their enquiry question, they will collect and analyse data and ultimately present their findings. As this is a fieldwork topic, some of our learning will take us out into the local area.

Maths

We begin with a unit of work on Time where we will consolidate understanding of units of time, convert between analogue and digital times and convert to and from the 24-hour clock.

 Porridge

Thanks to all the Y4s who auditioned for a speaking part in the play.  All parts have been cast and rehearsals will begin soon. We will let you know shortly what costume requirements will be and families may be called upon to seek out various props.

 Hill End Meeting

There will be a meeting this Thursday after school at 3.45. Children are welcome to attend with their adults.
