On Friday, Julian Soles came into school to speak to lower school about his passion of boat designs and about his job. He conducted a few exciting experiments and taught the children about flotation, density & bouncy.

Following on from that theme, we will block the whole week to focus on science. Children will learn about plants, the different parts of a plant and its functions.

We will look at roots, leaves and possibly stems. As always we will have a few practical lessons in science and sending a bit of time out outdoors.

Maths: Continuation of Time

Afternoon subjects will take place as normal.

Massive congratulations to Discovery for winning the class treat! They will be permitted slippers and a cuddly toy all week. On Friday, they've twisted my arm into bringing them popcorn and to watch a film. They will also be allowed football cards but on only on Friday. It will also be non uniform day.
