The children have enjoyed a visit from a Waitrose delivery van and a visit from Bill Pollard and his friend Matt Richardson will be cycling on their Penny Farthings from Henley to Paris to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. They were both dressed in 19th century clothing riding 2 Penny farthings in school.

English/Topic: I am very impressed with my entire class for their fantastic biography writing on Neil Armstrong. They have taken care to incorporate all features of a biography supported by their research at home and school.

Week ahead, the children will write a diary entry on our class text. An email has been sent to all parents about English homework. This should take roughly 15 to 20 mins researching counties, states or countries, this will help with their diary entry. Thank you.

Maths: Continuation of our new topic Time. Homework sheets have been given to all children.
