I hope everyone is rested after the bank holiday long weekend. It will be a short week ahead but as usual with plenty to pack in.  

Cake Sale

Thanks so much to all of you who helped make the Investigator Cake Sale such a success. Whether you coordinated, baked, helped out on the day or bought cakes at the sale, between you all you have raised £176.31!  

We will have a chat in class to see what the class think we need in our classroom to help us learn.

Topic Work

This week we were considering how we can use archaeological evidence to find out about the past. We did some detective work to see if we could work out who the Amesbury Archer was by examining the contents of his grave. Children also had some hands-on experience looking at the contents of our museum loan boxes.  

This week we consider further how bronze changed prehistoric life.

In maths we continue work on Decimals – partitioning, ordering and comparing, rounding to the nearest whole number and expressing halves and quarters as decimals.
