The children have worked very hard on their topic on fractions and money. They have successfully completed their unit assessment on fractions. We have spent time focusing on addressing any misconceptions and nearing the end of our topic on money.
In English/ Topic: We will begin our biography writing on Neil Armstrong. This is genre of writing is fairly new to the children, so we have spent a bit of time on research, taking down notes, identifying features of a biography through class discussions and using an example text.
Maths: Completion of our topic on money + assessment. They we will move on to our new topic on Time. Please could you encourage your child to tell the time at home using an analogue and digital clock.
Continuation of their times table is a must. Thank you for your support.
Homework: reading, spellings, Atom learning and Spag booklets this week.
