Highflyer Class Term 4 Week 622 March 2024 (by Dorothy Wyatt (dwyatt)) |
This week is the last few days of term 4 and very nearly Easter too.
We will be finishing our India topic in class by writing our own ending to a Indian traditional tale and using our knowledge to help in doing this. We celebrate the end of the topic by having a Holi race on Thursday - see below.
Maths continues with multiplication, but now division is being introduced so that it links together in understanding. Maths homework is due in on Thursday this week, although of course, it can always be handed in before.
Tuesday - Forest School as normal.
Wednesday - Star of the Term assembly at 2.45pm
Thursday - Holi celebration at 1pm. This will be a run around the school grounds and the colours of the festival will be thrown over the runners. This is a non-school uniform day but please send your child in old clothes that will not matter getting covered in washable paint. It will be messy but lots of fun!
End of term at 1.30 p.m.
Wishing you all a lovely Easter and a relaxing holiday.
