English/ Topic: On Monday, the children will write a published version of their Indian fable, as a writing assessment. These pieces of writing will go into their special folders. The whole morning will be dedicated to the writing task, so we will not have a maths lesson tomorrow.

This week, our focus will be on our science topic 'Light'. We will learning and conducting about light, darkness, shadows and group materials that are transparent, translucent and opaque.

Maths: Continuation of our topic: Mass and Capacity., followed by an end of block assessment.

Afternoon subjects will continue as normal.

Massive congratulations to Discovery for winning this week's class treat. The children will be allowed to wear slippers or comfortable footwear in class. They can also bring a soft toy all week. However, on Friday they will be allowed to wear their pyjamas ( please could your ensure your child wears weather appropriate clothing, whilst playing outdoors), bring in football cards only on Friday.
