The gallery on Investigator's page shows the class hard at work writing their information texts about the water cycle. They were armed with knowledge, sources of information and checklists to inform the writing style. Our Dance lesson shows the freestyle section where groups were improvising their own routines to a section of the dance.  They did a great job and I was impressed (as always) with their moves.

App News - congratulations to Talia, Beaux and Poppy who were winners in the app design competition. We had some wonderful ideas from the class when they created their designs -  so keep designing everyone!

Next week in Investigator...

In our topic work we will continue our study of rivers with a particular focus on the sacred Ganges.

In English children will be practising writing in a narrative genre and inventing a prequel to Asha and the Spirit Bird. Our SpaG lessons in preparation will focus on the punctuation rules for speech in preparation for this.

In maths, Y4 continue the unit of work on Fractions.  Did anyone manage to solve the Andy’s Marbles problem?

Y5 continue their unit on decimals and percentages.
