This week we are going to continue researching and comparing life in the UK and India. We will look at the similarities and differences in human and physical features including climate, landmarks, national symbols, religion, food, fashion and school life.   

Phonic/Reading

Maths

We will begin the Unit on Place Value within 50. This week’s focus is to count by making groups of tens, and groups of tens and ones.

Science

We will continue to identify, name & describe a variety of common animals including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals, and categorise them into carnivores, herbivores and omnivores.

We will also have a Weather Review on the Seasonal Changes.  

Special Event

World book day is on Thursday the 7th March and we are celebrating by reading stories from different continents. Children are welcome to dress up and bring in books.
