Writing/Topic

This week we will begin our new topic on India. We are launching the topic my making a traditional Indian drink called a Lassi and the children will write instructions on how to make one.

Phonic/Reading

This week’s Focus Sound is ow (snow).

We are reading Shared reader 53 Clever Crows.

Maths

We will continue our unit on Addition & Subtraction (within 20). This week’s focus is on finding and making number bonds to 20, doubles and near doubles.

Spanish

This week the children will learn to use simple sentences in Spanish.
