The children looked rested after a week off, ready for term 2. They have been very enthusiastic about our new topic ' Our Island Nation.'

English/Topic - We have been learning about the UK and gathering information all week. This week the focus will be on writing a fact file. Using their previous spag knowledge and organising their writing in paragraphs. In addition, to support their writing. All children have been asked to find 10 facts about the UK.

Maths- Multiplication and Division unit. We've started our new topic in maths, after successfully completing an assessment in addition and subtraction. Please could children continue to learn their times tables and practise addition and subtraction questions regularly involving exchange.

Afternoon subjects will continue, but we will also begin practising for our Christmas production.
