This week we will begin our new topic on Our Island Nation. We will research and write information on the capital cities of the countries in the United Kingdom.

Phonic/Reading

This week’s spellings are on the sound ‘ir’.

We are reading Shared reader 40 ‘Highland Summer’.

Maths

We will continue the unit on Addition & Subtraction. This week the children will continue to learn to use number bonds within 10, add together and addition problems.

Computing

This unit is called Programming Toys. The children will learn about say what an algorithms and program a Bee-Bot.
