We had a great science week, as the children were learning about the nutritional groups are body requires to function. They designed their own healthy plate of food, conducted an experiment on 3 fruit juices to see which juice contained the most vitamin c.

Learned about vertebrates and invertebrates. Identifying some of the bones in the human body with along with their scientific names, examining the bone structure of chicken wings and thighs, looking at the bone structure and learning about deflection.

We are very thankful to Bubbly and Abhi for visiting us on Friday and talked to the children about Hinduism.

This will be our final week of term 1 and a conclusion of our topic on WW2. We are very privileged to welcome Ms Hutton tomorrow morning in class. She has offered to bring her parent's diaries about the war and what life was like for them.

In English: children will retell the story of Friend or Foe using a story board of the book we've been reading. It is lovely to hear all of them reading aloud, taking it in turns, but more importantly enjoying the story.

Maths: continuation of addition and subtraction.

Science: Children learn about muscles and how they work in our bodies.

All subjects will continue as normal.

Wishing you all a good week ahead.
