It was a VERY early start this morning for these children and their families as we set off to Oxford to take part in the School's Challenge at the Oxford Half Marathon. It was a chilly and frosty morning but the sun soon warmed us up as we waited excitedly for the start of our race.

Nettlebed runners have been busy clocking up the miles ahead of the race and this morning ran the final mile of their half marathon.

They were fantastic all morning and we were very proud of them. Many, many thanks to the parents who ran with us and to all the parents who provided transport and brilliant support along the race route.
